Blaze of glory: Lorraine Kelly forced to evacuate ITV breakfast show after fire alarm goes off during live broadcast

She's been a regular on ITV breakfast programming since the 90s. And showbiz pro Lorraine Kelly was so committed to presenting her flagship show on Monday morning that she vowed to 'keep going' in spite of a fire alarm sounding off in the building. The 54-year-old, who has been applauded for her calm and collected behaviour by viewers on Twitter, was eventually forced to bring the programme to a close early due to the incident, which caused the alarm to blare through the studios with the message 'this building is being evacuated'.
